There is some light age appropriate wear along the fabric edges of the cover, light discoloration from shelf dust/sitting and light tanning to the pages. This copy is in very nice condition with no significant wear or ownership markings. Metallica's song "One" is based on this novel and its main character. It is considered an anti-war novel with broader thoughts on humanity as a whole.
